Write about the prompt below:

Imagine you could “live” in any book you’ve ever read. What book would that be and which character would you choose to be? Why?

  1. One of my recent books that I have read talks about a man who was working in an amusement park in which he died during an incident in the park. This guy was such a good man, he was helpful and he loves to make children happy. If I would live in a book I would choose this book. And to be one of the people that went to the park to enjoy the greatness and the kindness of this man. Also I would try to save him from that incident.

I think if a book is well written, then we always find it too short. And that what happened with me when I read “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. It consists of 313 pages, but I felt like it was a few pages because I really lived in this book and enjoyed its story. I would like to be like Augustus Waters’s character. He was a cancer’s patient, but he got rid of this disease. While visiting a friend in the cancer patients’ support group, he met Hazel Grace Lancaster who is also a cancer patient. Day after day they fell in love with each other and Augustus decided not to leave her, support her and do as much as possible to make her happy because he thought she would die before him. But unfortunately, Augustus’s disease has returned and spread everywhere, and he dies eight days later… After his death, Augustus’s friend gave Hazel a book written by Augustus describing how sweet and beautiful she was and how much he loved her. I would like to be like him because he is loving, sincere, kind, and loves to help people till the last moment in his life.

  3. Books are the summaries of our personalities. My personality fits well with 'The Kite Runner' written by Khaled Hussaini that I would choose without thinking twice.Choosing this book to live in comes from a current issue that we are facing today 'No True Friendship'.I would prefer to live in a book that still aquires what friendship exactly means with taking Hassan's character.I would be that person that gives with no limits and sacrifies to save his friend even if he's not knowing the importance of this true gem. There's nothing better than living a life you feel yourself free to take care of your friends to make them the ideal people they want to be.I wish I could be that kind of people that appreciate the feeling of friends and is ready to lose their lives for the happiness of others. My only wish is to have the pure heart of Hassan that wins over time which is the key for defining true friendship.

  4. How interesting a book is!? Usually i prefer reading a book than watching a film for 1 reason, which is that while reading a book all the characters and events are based on my imagination. Just like i am creating my own world, no one could interrupt my peace in that moment. One of the books that left a great impact on me was an Arabic book called "I Loved You More Than You Deserve- احببتك اكثر مما ينبغي". The story of this book highlights a girl "Joumana" who fell in love with a toxic man, who destroyed her personality and emotions without any sense, but my specialized character in the book wasn't this girl! My favorite character was the girl's bestfriend "Haifa", she is a kind girl that has always advised Joumana and tried to put her on the right track. She was a good friend and many times she helped her friend in an amazing way, for that i would like to play her role in the book. But, mainly i would like to play her role for another reason, which is to oblige Joumana to leave her boyfriend in any way, even if i had to fight with her, but i will never give up from protecting her. So, maybe i would have a stronger character than Haifa, also this book has taught me alot, especially from Haifa's character and the situations pesent in it. I would advise everyone to read it!

  5. The book "A Brief History of Almost Everything"

Author Bill Bryson describes himself as a reluctant traveler, but even while he's safe at home he can't stop his curiosity about the world around him. A Brief History of Nearly Everything is an investigation whose goal is to understand everything that has happened from the Big Bang to our inception. Civilization; how we came out of nowhere, to here, where we are; It is an enlightening journey to discover the world, it transcends the limits of time and place, so that the picture is more integrated than before.

As for choosing a book to live in, it would be hard for me since in each single book, there are stories and of course
a new friend. However, I can say about one book that is emotionally powerful and inspiring which is " Because I love You". I like to replace Mark, the hero, in this book because I like his patience while he waiting his daughter 'Layla'. She was lost for about five years, but even this, he didn't give up like the mother and tried many times to find her. Eventually, Mark found Layla after long waiting and bad expectations. All his dreams came true knowing that he lost his career, but we can understand one concept that there are ones who deserve to touch our sacrifices.

  7. Reading is a good habit! teaches you a lot of things you wish you know earlier. Non-fiction book I choose because it unfolds the reality you get to know real people and their lives. It’s also gives knowledge in a specific subject which helps in learning new things. Finally, it provide you with facts that may change your thinking, opinions and judgment about everything.

  8. Tala Khalaf
One of my favorite books is "نطفة " ,an Arabic novel, that begins with the writer's and Asmaa's love story. The novel continues until Hamza is arrested a month after marrying Asma and sentenced to years in enemy prisons, and in order to have children, he smuggled (Natfa) which is the sperm his wife because they wanted to have children as soldiers for the upcoming battles. I'd like to be Asmaa, the wife of a great struggler who has heard many love quotes, such as one of my favorite quotes that he said to her, "Our story began when I first saw you." Your gaze slashed me in half. I continued on my way, each half of me swearing to me that he loved you more."

  9. The land of Zykola is a strange world. It is a world of self-reliance only. The special thing about this world is that the people there deal with units of intelligence rather than money. This way of communication fascinated me because now a days our world focused on money and forgot about intelligence. In the land of Zykola, the person depends on himself/herself only in order to save his/her life. In our world we consider the person who doesn't have money as a poor ,but in this earth it is depend on the units of intelligence. Moreover, in the day of Zykola the poorest one must be killed , so the people their work so hard to keep their lives safe.
I liked Khaled's character because he is an ambitious man and did not succumb to the torment of love. He is an independent person. Khaled lost his parents since he was a child and lived with his grandfather. He never gave up and defied difficulties that he faced throughout his life and in the land of Zykola. If I get the chance to live a certain personal life story from a book or a novel, I will definitely choose Khaled's character and Zykola world with its challenges

  10. We don't need to imagine that we live in a book;we unconsciously do that when we read because
our thoughts would be linked to every sentence in the book.We feel sad with sorrowful incidents, and we laugh with funny issues as if we are encountering them. Harry Potter novels are the perfect books to read as they carry a lot incidents that would blow the mind! If I wanted to be a character in this series, I would choose (Severus Snape) who is a professor in "Slytherin" because he has a lot of fascinating features. Indeed, he is serious and charismatic. He never laughs nor jokes which made his character ambiguous. Furthermore, all the students would avoid a debate with him because it is stereotyped that he is a bad guy. However, the things changed before minutes of his death because it has been proved that he was secretly protecting Harry Potter from the dark lord. In fact, he was in love with Harry's mother (Lilly)who was killed by the dark lord. Thus, Snape was a helpful, loyal, and emotional guy. He is also a hero because he died for Harry Potter's sake. Finally, Severus Snape's character taught me not to judge anyone unless we know him deeply from inside because we never know what are the circumstances of people.
