"Imagine all the people, living life in peace". Imagine that we should imagine to live in peace when this should be the reality. people have destroyed our peaceful world. Nowadays people think about money and wealth so they murder and destroy the life of innocent people. Living life in peace for me is the way to insure happiness for the people all around the world, and the way to decrease the differences between communities.
ReplyDelete"And the world will be as one". This one sentence here means a lot. Nowadays, you can clearly see that the world is divided because of different beliefs and conflicts. If only everyone would just ignore these differences that humans themselves created, the world will of course be a better place and surely be united. I could see this idea related to me because this is how I interact with people. A person's background doesn't matter as long as he/she is respectful and has great manners.
ReplyDeletefrom the start of this song 'Imagine no heaven' it got my attention and found it interesting ! Because I personally have this thought in my head about imagining no heaven or even no hell bellow us, and the thoughts keep taking me and opens my imagination even more, to imagine and ask even more other questions in my head, but regarding this specific idea what also got my attention was 'Imagine all the people, living life in piece' and I started imagining, that no one is poor, no discrimination, racism, hate, and starving people, imagine no wars, no hate or criticize for what people think, wear, or feel imagine everyone is living in peace and minding his own business, and no one is worried about waking up the first next day not finding something to eat, or not worried to die in any second due to war, just imagine ! But that's life.

It expresses the problems of our disintegrating age due to the difference between us, of religion and color..., and all the calls that claim to spread peace and turn our planet into an ideal planet caught my attention in the song. This world and the aspirations to achieve these goals, in order to establish a single cosmic world that is not bounded by borders, sects, color, or sect.(Mohammad Abd Alhak)
ReplyDeleteI felt interested in every part of this song. As it included all the obstacles facing this world such as racism and discrimination in color, shape and religion... But the part that attracted me the most is "I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will be as one," where the singer told us a clear and explicit idea that if we (all the people) contemplate a quiet life and seeking towards it, we will have a unified strong world. As I felt this song relates to me, because I always believe that one day we will all be one hand, no bully or discriminate between each other. We are all one!

This is a very interesting, sensitive and expressive idea because if we imagine that all people will be one part or section regardless of religion, ricism, decriminalisation, and bullying, our life will be a very comfortable one. Moreover, imagine that they only share love, peace, fun, and wishes. How perfect and wonderful would our life and world be? I aspire from many years ago to implement this idea in which it reflects my personality that I love peace and hate resicm, I love living in comfortable life and hate living in complex one, and finally we all wish this idea to be alive...
how interesting this song is? It's a piece of heaven really! So that listening to it while closing my eyes, feels more comfortable than sleeping for 100 years maybe. The most touchy idea included in the song is when the singer said: "Imagine...No thing to kill or die for", that's a simple sentence in structure but a huge sentence in meaning! We are living nowadays in a world where people are killing each other and dying for useless reasons. Some are killed among wars due to difference in religions, others die out defending their politicians. Many are dying daily due to simple arguments between each others, for example my neighbor who had been shot due to car parking! So imagine that all these big and little adversities disappeared, then nothing to kill or die for, i think that's the heaven we're hoping to! Where no culprits are taking place, where only peace is the controller, that's the world i aspire to be in. I have literally enjoyed this song with this sentence in specific, asking god and then people: Would this statement come true?

ReplyDeleteI cant believe how much the lyrics of the song touched my heart and how deep I got into my imagination especially when he said "Imagine all people living life in peace" where I started imagining my homeland, Palestine, is free and my people are living in peace without occupation and attacks every single day. Just Imagining that all people are living calmly, unperturbedly and quietly away from fears, wars and racism made me feel so happy and internally comfortable. what a stunning say about the world to be one !. How nice to let the differences that divide us and unite as one apart from bullying and discriminations. It such an incredible song!

ReplyDeleteI can say that this song attracted me for three important things. Firstly, its title: "Imagine" because I can't live without imagination, the way that connects you to your own world and I really enjoy this way of thinking. Then, I like the calmness which is included in the tone of this song since actually I prefer silence. At last, I felt very comfortable while listening to the part " No need for greed or hunger " that is highly recommended especially in our Arab World. In fact, we are suffering from several obstacles like wars,pandemics and killing because of our greedy presidents who are taking care of their chairs only and ignoring the needy people. As a result, every region of our world is facing hunger today on a high level. As for me, I faced many greedy people who affected my personality by preventing me from achieving the first rank in my class because of my different nationality. For this reason, I think this part is the most attractive for me.
In short, I hope to see all people live in peace away from greed and hunger.
Well, not bad for an old song in the 70s... honestly I didn't like its melody ;despite this, I admire its main purpose. The singer has given us the opportunity to imagine a new peaceful united world with nothing to worry about and nothing to fear of. Imagination gives us a reason to think and visualize and that is a vital factor for me because the day I will stop imagining, will be the day I lose interest to continue living; in addition to that, I find the wood walk at the beginning of the video really catchy, as I love this foggy atmosphere and I'm inspired by it. ReplyDelete" Imagine all the people are living for today".This phrase left me imaging how our life could be if we're all living for today ,for the current moment and not living for worries and expectations. I couldn't organize this puzzle up in my mind and I have no picture of how our life would look if we take of the mask of thinking of the foreseeable future. Overthinking is an ubiquitous fatal disease that's threatening our future and our thoughts. This brief meaning of overthinking is a result of a life experience. Yes,I'm overwhelmed about tomorrow ,about the surprises of tomorrow .I wish that predictions fade and we live the moment for today and not for the coming days.This expression has made me feel the true meaning of living in peace ,living for today for the current moment without further expectations.

ReplyDeleteI was charmed by these words "Imagine all people living for today" because I think that it's great to be a mindfullness person who lives he moments and enjoys the smallest details. Also, I believe thay one should live happiness deeply, ignore negative energies, unleash his soul, and open his heart to hope. Ufortunately ,these days we have really lost the pleasure of feeling moments, and we are either stuck in the past or worried about the future. Moreover, we are not appreciating our blessings, that if we just took a look at them, we will find out how much lucky we are. These words remind me of a quote "The only way to survive eternity is to be able to appreciate each moment", and this is what the songs' words mean. Talking about myself, I am an overthinker about the future and this sometimes gets in the way of my ability to enjoy the moment. But I always remind myself that the future is a collection of the present, so plant hope in your day and reap it in your future.
Imagine!! It may be just a small word, but it is like an ocean of meanings and concepts.

And as George Bernard Shaw said, “Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will.”
Therefore, imagination does not stem from a vacuum, and it's not an illusion that's separate from
reality.
The way the song talked about dreams and fantasies for a better reality attracted me a lot and I felt that it really belonged to me because imagination is the dream, and I am also a dreamer these ideas always boil in my mind about what the world would be like if we were living in a better reality “Imagine all the people living for today.” No regrets, no sadness over the past, not even anxiety and stress over the future. We only live today and feel the moments of peace and love and everyone is busy with himself/herself and his/her day so “Nothing to kill or die for” How wonderful it is for the world to reach this stage of inner peace and stage of beauty because you will live for today only in peace, security and kindness, there is nothing We fight for it, not even ourselves.
But the question is, can these fantasies come true one day, or are they just impossible dreams?
From my point of view, as the famous painter, Pablo Picasso said, “everything you can imagine is real”.
I can't live without imagination, so I can't believe how deeply the lyrics of this song touched my imagination. How to connect you to your world, and I enjoy this idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very reasonable idea. Imagine that everyone, regardless of religion, racism, non-criminalization, or bullying, would be part or a group, and our lives would be very comfortable. Imagine that all these adversities, big and small, are gone and nothing kills or dies. I think this is the heaven we want. This is the world I want to enter, where there are no guilty parties and only peace is in control. In particular, I literally enjoyed this song, which began to imagine my hometown of Palestine, "Imagine all people living life in peace".
